Okay, I know I've been posting a lot but oh well.
So, I chopped some grapes into eighths to feed to my chickens. I opened the door to the run and tried to get in around the mud (we had a huge storm last night and this morning) but our Leghorn slipped right between my legs and escaped the run. I closed the door and lured her back with the plate of grapes, which she fell for. Once she got close enough I reached out to pick her up. Instead of actually running away like usual, she squatted down (which I know is normal when pullets are reaching maturity) My hands weren't touching her, but they were on either side. I eventually picked her up and put her back in the run, then went in there with my plate of grapes. As I was giving them the grapes (Just a sidenote because I thought it was funny: I wasn't paying attention to how low the plate was and the Leghorn grabbed a few grapes, then she ran into a corner of the run to hide from the others.) I noticed instead of making her normal, slightly higher pitched "brAWWWK" like she usually does when I have treats, she was making more of a whistle sound. I was thinking that maybe a peice of grape got caught in her throat, but I had never had problems with grapes in the past. Any clue to what it might be? I'm not home at the moment, but once I get home I'll check on her.

They can get stuff stuck in their throats, generally they can dislodge them within a day. If she continues to wheeze could be she has a respiratory infection.
