White Ameraucana chicks??

I bred a black ameraucana rooster with a splash pullet. Both are supposed to be pure. I got 100% blue chicks but some were darker than others. I’ve done it repeatedly with the same results. My question is that the light ones are turning white as they age. Why? How can black and splash give white?

Both parents carry recessive white.
