White beak tip????

Forgive the quality of the pics please....the cute little buggers are hard to catch on camera well. I have noticed white beak tips on a few of our new chicks...is this normal beak development? I've never had chicks and can't find anything about it in a forum search.....the other chicks keep trying to peck at the spot....they are new to us as of a few hours ago.....






any help appreciated.....
The chicks are RIR and Australorp according to the store....

Yes, that is not unusual. I believe it is the "egg tooth" that some people call it. For some chicks it seems to stay longer than others. It should disappear.

They will peck at each other's faces. As long as no one draws blood, don't worry.
