White blob of some sort

Can anyone tell me what this is? I found it in a nesting box where my hen was sitting. The second picture is where I had flipped it over

What species of bird?

Have you had any issues with her eggs lately?

My guess is it is akin to a shellless egg. If lash egg, would normally be harder, thicker, and yellowish, but not ruling out that it couldn't be an infection of some sort too.

If you don't have oyster shell out for them, I'd suggest it.

Maybe separate her so you can see if she's having any further issues.
