they are the traditional skin tone/pinkish color. so if you are right, lets hope its a girl, I would hate to give up a rooster that pretty!!!

Ah, okay. You should probably know pretty soon. Mine are 3 weeks, and both females. No red in the shoulder.....only pretty orange and salmon in the breast and hackle. RP roosters are simply magnificent.

It happens to us all. Just explain that those little peeps hopped into your cart uninvited.

So im reading up on the breed, are they good backyard birds? Meaning are they capable of flight? In reading, i see that they are a very erect upright bird and their flight feathers are part of their charm. Id rather not have to trim those feathers to keep them in my yard.
