White chickens turning yellow-help

I am feeding my white frizzles cracked corn and they appear to be turning yellow??? Did I read something on this board about that???

My white jap turned yellow from the sun????? Cracked corn i dont know maybe someone will help with this I dont feed my girls corn so I believed it was from the sun

yep, sun, genetics and corn will turn your white birds yellow. Stop feeding the corn and when they molt out, they should be white again, unless its one of the other issues I mentioned in addition to the corn.

to much sun, and the corn will do it. if you are showing you will need to change but if there are non-show chickens. i will be your choice what to do.

Yeppers, too much corn will do that. And did you know that corn is like candy to a chicken? They really love it but it's not all that good for them. And of course, they will pick the corn over layer feed every time.

So I'd back off on the corn.

Funny. We just gave our hens corn for the first time today and they just turned their little beaks up at it. Must not know what it is.
