White Chicks

I have a few large white chicks with black specks. I'm not sure if they are California whites or Cornish X. They are quite large compared to the other various chicks. The biggest one is the one I'll post.

I once had a breeder tell me that the white chicks with a spot on the back of the neck means female. So far that has been true on both chicks that I had that had the dot.

They look exactly like my Tetra Tint, when they was chicks, they're a RIR roo mixed with a White Leghorn hen, they lay a off white to cream colored egg.

I got them from cackle. A surprise mix. Based on their breeds they sell, I thought a austra white, California white, or a Cornish cross since they are BIG. But it seems the austra white would have slate/blue legs? So I'm still thinking the latter two. I'll post a pic of a 2nd one. Feathering out white with a few black spots.

Cackle doesn't have tetra tint. I think the only Leghorn crosses are the ones I mentioned. Only reason I thought Cornish cross is their size is right up there with the bbw turkeys of the same age. Whatever they are, they are growing quick.

It's just mine and yours would've passed from hatching from the same eggs, twins, lol
