One of our roosters, "Captain" has white spots covering his comb & wattles. These spots on his comb suddenly showed up about 3 days ago, and now they are covering his wattles. He acts normal. Does he have fowl pox? What can I do? Thanks bunches

I don't see anything that looks like fowl pox. If the white spots are powdery you may be dealing with a fungal infection called favus (aka ringworm). This is what it looks like when it gets bad:

Favus can be treated with iodine once a day being very careful to keep it out of his eyes or with an antifungal cream for athletes foot which is applied twice a day until it clears.

Thank you for your response. How do chickens get ringworm?
