White? Copper Maran or Splash Maran?

I have 10 Black/Blue marans 6 hens and 4 roos. One of the roos is white... I got him from a friend who ONLY breeds Blue/Black Marans (and Guineas) how is he white? Thanks if anyone knows!

Blue/ Black Maran breeding can produce Blue, Black or Splash birds.

He is Splash, no doubt about it
