white eggers

my dad is wanting a chicken that lays white eggs i only know of the leghorn is there any others, that will lay an egg around the size of a sex link hen's egg

Lot of breeds lay white eggs. to many to list about 25 breeds I think.

few are, polish,game,butter cups, campine,holland,yokohama,and sultan.

I bought some california greys about three years ago and they lay white and have turned out to be really nice birds. Good disposition, out of the ten not any health problems, no egg bounds, no internal layers. (Knocking on wood here.) The eggs are just a tad smaller than my isa's but I'd get them again just for the disposition. Mine came from Townline hatchery in MI.

Oops! just realized you are in UK...the name of the hatchery won't help at all then will it!

nope lol, but that's okay, i haven't heard of any of the breeds mentioned so far except for polish (quite popular here)
