Im fairly new to chickens but I also say white leghorn. I bought some one year old layers Sunday. 8 of 11 layed Monday 9 of 11 layed Tuesday and 10 out of 11 layed Wednesday. They layed even though they used to freerange and only roost in the coop at night and I kept them locked in the coop until yesterday. They layed even though they traveled 40+ miles in a kennel in the back of a truck. I was expecting to wait at least a week for eggs from all the stress but nope. And one lays a double yolker every day. my 2 cents
