white faced black spanish

How would this breed do in a cold winter with all of the exposed skin on their faces?. I am interested in getting a hen so frostbitten combs shouldn't be too much of an issue. Pictures would be great!

i have 2 of them here in connecticut 1 roo (jerk) and 1 hen. no troubles in the cold so far. dont mind his ratty tail he was picked on last year and they havent grown back...
