I have 3 one week old coturnix chicks. All of them have good energy and no problems eating or drinking. They seem to be at a comfortable temperature but 2 days ago I noticed that one pooped this white foamy poop and then realized that the others started to have the same issue. Every once in a while there will be a normal poop but it is most of the time foamy and airy. Any ideas on what I'm dealing with? Possibly an early sign of cocci?

Also another possible issue is that I have one guy or girl that has this white speck kind of sand looking on her eye. I havent noticed it messing too much with it but the chick is unable to close its eye completely.

Hi

It could be normal depending on the frequency.

See this post: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/foamy-poop-really-watery-poop.343428/

As for the eye, I can't really tell, but could it be a bit of straw or bedding that has gone in and is longer than the bit sticking out?

Yes, I had come across that post when I was looking for answers, but the frequency is definitely not normal.. The thing on the eye seems like a growth to me, but its possible it could be from the bedding. I will keep an eye on it.
