White Leghorn: hen or roo?

Hi everyone. We have four girls who are 10 weeks old. Honey is a Buff Orp, Nellie is the Black Astro, Ruthie our Americauna and then Pearl our white Leghorn.

when we got them at four weeks, pearl was the largest of the chicks and she had the most developed comb of them all. She was also the “leader“ for the first two days they arrived until she got sick. She still seems to be the one “in charge” like she’s the first to fly out when I open the run.

anyway, any chance she’s a he?

Pullet. Leghorns develop really fast, so a large comb early isn't unusual.

Agree with all of the above, all girls. My leghorn cross has the same personality and I thought she was a boy for the longest time. Has awesome attitude!
