Not sure how old he is. He is a great Roo to his hens not so good with people. Has gone after kids and wife.

Judging by the length of spurs he's under a year old, maybe around a year. Some develop slow. Depends if he's ever been despurred before of course.

This roo belongs to a friend and if he doesn't find a new home soon he'll be going to freezer camp. Any takers????

I commend you for being honest about his violent tendencies, but there's so many nonviolent roosters out there that few people are willing to take in an animal that's going to attack their children and themselves. He should ideally go to freezer camp to preserve the good mentality of the breed as a whole. Sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear.

Sorry your ad didn't work out, but good on you for trying anyway. So many roosters are produced all the time that people do get to pick and choose, and a violent one tends to fall down the desirability totem pole when choosing your next breeding male.
