White Leghorn -SOP??

So I am wondering where one would find the rules on what to breed for in white Leghorns?
We love ours here & id like to breed toward a betterment, if possible.

I did a search for like a rule book but didn’t see one.

I would go to the APA website and get yourself a copy of the standard of perfection.

Agreed you're probably gonna just have to get a Standard Of Perfection from the APA.
You could also go to an APA show and look for a good breeder there. Network with them or see if someone wants to mentor you.

Never been to a chicken show! Lol

I really don’t want to show them or be a crazed breeder but I would like to know the things to look for in breeding w them.

We're not ALL that crazy lol! If you're looking at breeding them, that makes you no different from the rest of us. I'd encourage you to go to a show. They're good fun and we are desperately in need of more entries.

I just don’t have the time nor resources to breed tons to SOP.

I missed one this weekend just down the road from me.
Had no idea till too late. How does one find out about shows??
