white scratches on rooster's comb

Hi All,
Hope everyone is fine and enjoying good health. people i need ur help regarding my bantam cochin rooster. he is about 8 months old .tomorrow i noticed that there are some scratches on his comb, wattle. he is shaking his head every now and then tries to swallow something.so what is it and what should i do??

The scratches don't sound alarming to me...maybe he has dryish skin on his comb/wattles?? And I guess the head shaking doesn't concern me too much either unless it's just continuous. I notice my chickens shake their heads more and do the throat thing more often when it's windy here...I'm not sure why though. Has it been windy there???
Some look like they're trying to swallow when the crop is really full...???
Could any of these be possibilities?
