White silkie in Mother Earth News!!

I just got round to picking up my lates copy of M-E-N and they have a article about how to raise chickens. They go on to say which ones lay well, go broody, and which ones are the better Mothers etc..
But they have a really cute pic of a white silkie with a little yellow chick on her back.

Yes, I got that magazine recently too. I loved the title of the chicken article "Anyone Can Raise Chickens". I figure that's true, if a bunch of weirdos like us can do it, ANYbody can.

Yup, I saw that last night in my mag. too. It felt nice to read that article and think to myself "yah, yah I already know this stuff..." since in the spring all this chicken raising stuff was new to me.
