White Silkie mixed with either RIR or Australorp/Black Sex Link?

We have 2 roosters, a white silke (I recently sold all my silkies and no one wanted to take him, so I decided to keep him) and a RIR guy named Chester.

For hens we have RIR/NHR, a buff oprington (sp?), 2 australorp or black sex links, and a white sex link.

Who is the mom? The dad is obviously the silke, this chick has 5 toes and feet feathers. This chick has dark brown (more like auburn) on it's back with black eye-liner and stripes. Thanks!

Most likely the RIR/NHR. I hatched one also with the same crossing (Silkie roo over RIR hen). He was also a white one.

Turned out to be a hen and laid little brown eggs. Unfortunately we found her dead one morning for no apparent reason. Hatched in July of '09.

Thanks! The two surely look the same! What did she look like as an adult? Sorry to hear you lost her.

Did yours have black feet as well? I would have thought a RIR/silkie cross would have orange feet, but this little guy has black feet. The other silkie cross we have is very light yellow with orange feet - looks just like a regular silkie chick.

Her feet started out as a light yellowy grey but then darkened to black. Here is a picture of her as an adult.
