We have a 16 month old white silkie rooster in need of a new home. He is great with adults but has decided that our 2 year old poses a threat. Other than attacking our toddler, he is a great rooster. He takes care of his flock a treats them well. He finds food, lets them eat first, and keeps them all together when freeranging (an exhausting job). He herds them under a bush if he suspects danger and would certainly lay down his life for them. If you are interested in providing him with a great new home, please let me know. We are in west central NJ, and I would be willing to drive a reasonable distance.
