Hi
I have noticed some white stuff on my hen Olive ears.
She is around 6 months old She is eating fine and laying eggs.
My other 2 chickens don't have anything similar.
Can anyone tell me what this is and how to treat it?
Thank you.

She has red earlobes, so will lay brown eggs.

Unless the white stuff (don’t know the name for it) rubs off, that’s just a normal earlobe. My Orpingtons have this too.

It just means that she is a cross between a white lobe and red lobe breed. Being an Olive egger my guess is it’s some leghorn genetics showing through.

Thank you for the reassurance, you are correct she does lay olive eggs hence her name. I didn't know ears could be more than one colour.
