Bet that title confused you.
Can anyone think of white treats? I've noticed my chickens for whatever reason prefer treats that are white. Such as whole wheat bread and egg whites. They aren't interested when I toss them greens and even the egg yolks get a bit snubbed until they had eaten all the white bits (I boil the eggs and chop them up). Between The egg whites and bread they now mob me the second I step foot out the front door - but I'd still prefer more variety that they might actually eat rather than flee from before trying to scratch through it in search of something else.

Birds are often afraid of new things (shapes & colors). It sometimes take a lot of trying for them to become welcoming of new treats.
So for some ideas for white treats:
cauliflower
apple
chicken or turkey meat
seeds and ribs from bell peppers
popcorn
zucchini
cucumber
cabbage- kinda stretching now

Hi! I have noticed the white preference, too. One of my chicks has very nice white spots at the end of each feather. They others are always picking at them! So far mine like all the white stuff mentioned except for cottage cheese and yogurt!
