Hi,

Long time reader first time poster :)

We've had chooks for ages and have 3 beautiful light Sussex and a couple of egg machine Isa Browns.

Recently we bought a dozen, day-old chicks and raised then firstly in the shed, and now outside (they came through the end of our winter here in South Australia).

They are a mix of white wyandotte, silver laced wyandotte, Andalusian, Ancona, Australorp and wheaten Marans. They're getting to the age where they are showing personalities, and I think this white wyandotte is a rooster.

Any guidance from experienced WW watchers would be great, thanks! What do you think? There was only one WW so I can't compare to others...

It's comb and wattles look pretty big for 10 weeks old, I'm gonna tentatively say cockerel.... 🤔
Could you post more pictures in a few weeks? :)
Agreed. But, the photos are Hazy.
At first I thought a Pullet but when it's only 10 weeks old, I am leaning to a Cockerel too.
Clearer photos of a profile and looking straight down on the bird will really help. Also please go to your photo edit and brighten up the photo please.

Thanks for your replies so far!

I'll do my best to get some better photos later today. Any tips on getting a 10 week old to stand still...?:lau
