White X Blue= Results?

I have a white silkie cockerel and a blue silkie pullet. What would the cross make?

What about white silkie cockerel X a buff silkie pullet?

I am so confused.

They haven't started laying yet, soon though. I am new to chickens, so I haven't bought or sold eggs. I probably will though.

I would like to get more silkies before I do.

I am not too good on genetics, but I believe white has all the colors hidden so that the results of a cross could be very unpredictable.

White does tend to hide color, so unless you know what exactly the genetic makeup is of the white bird, I agree the results are unpredictable. You will have to mate them to see what you get if you don't know the white's history.

With white roo and blue and black pullets, I had more blues and black chicks out of my crosses on my Amercuana bantams. No white chicks at all! No splash ones either. Funny quirks of genetics on the quads.
