We have had these beautiful hens since they were a day old and were told that they are Whiting True Blues. Can anyone confirm if they have ever seen Whitings with this pattern or uniform feather color?
Where did you get them from, and how old are they? I think they are probably light Brahma crosses. They have the right color and they have pea combs, but they lack the feathered legs. That's if you got them from a backyard breeder. I think the one on the right could be a cockerel, depending on age.
They appear to have a rose comb to me and look like Colombian Wyandottes with those yellow legs.
I would keep an eye on the one on the right as it does look like it could be male.
Whiting true blue have no set color or pattern that I know of. That said I've never seen any that looked like your two birds. I'm sorry I believe you were probably told wrong but eggs will tell. Colombian Wyandottes should lay a brown egg.
