Hi, byc. I have a chicken that I caught and tamed and would like help identifying what breed she is. Can you help?
Her name is chicken little, because she is so small, well compared to my buff orpingtons and Plymouth rock. She likes to go broody and has already been a foster mom for some trader joe eggs hatching one out. She is about 1-1/2 years old and lays white eggs 6 days a week.

Looks like a mixed breed to me, maybe with some Easter Egger in her. She's very pretty!

Beautiful mixed breed; I'm not sure what went into her. If she had Easter Egger in her background I would think that she would lay blue/green eggs, or at least eggs other than white.

Are her eggs white white, like store eggs? Or a creamy tinted white?

I'm not the OP, but yes there have been threads on folks incubating Trader Joe's regular eggs and hatching chicks from them.
