we have 2 iso browns that have been laying machines since 4 months.

2 bantams that didn't start till 6 months. but also give us almost an egg a day each. surprised.

2 black australorps and 2 black jersey giants have not started yet and we are at about 6 months.

this weird long cream colored egg showed up today. super long.

my question... who dunnit?
is this because it's a first egg for this girl? or one of these breeds lay weird long eggs?

It looks like you have a new layer, they can lay some wacky looking eggs when they lay for the first time.

Probably the first egg from one of the Australorps. That is about the color of the eggs I've had from that breed in the past.
