Who has lost they're Guineas?

Here's my story...


We came home from camping, and I checked on my Guineas. I couldn't find them any where! I got a call from the Childrens Home. They said the Guineas where penned up there. My mouth droped!! The Childrens Home is like 2 or 3 miles from here! So we got into the car and drove to the Childrens Home. We saw the little stinkers penned up in a cage. The man looked happy to see them leave (They are noisy!). He even let us take the cage!

BTW..... how long did it take your guineas to complete their 2-3 mile hike? (Maybe they had originally started out to join you at your campsite!

LOL, wow they traveled! Stupid mindless birds, just takes one curious one to start wandering off and then the rest of the stupids follow

The farthest I've ever had to go to retrieve mine before was about 1/4 mile from home... and that was only because I had a neighbor call me from her cell phone as she drove around them (they were marching up the middle of the road) when she was taking her kids to the bus stop, so I hauled butt up the road and chased them back home on my quad, lol. I bet they would have kept on going tho if nobody had called me! It only happened once, and it was years ago, they stay home now, lol.

Lol! Well, we camped 3 days. Not sure when they started out.. Glad we found them too!

I had 4 disappear one time a few years ago. I was up at a neighbors house visiting some time later and the four came up at feeding time. They were so proud of their guineas that I didn't have the heart to tell them they were mine. "Yep, that is strange them just wondering up like that."
