I have 2 bantom house chickens. They are 3 months old. Sometimes one of them makes this strange call and I don't know what they are trying to say. It only happens when I'm not in the room, and it's not very often.

What do you think?

Edit: They are both girls!

Oh no! A crow. These chickens need to not crow! Any advice on what I can do to discourage the crowing? I'm afraid they might bother my neighbors. If they do I'll have to give them back 😔
Unfortunately you can't discourage crowing, it's what males do. Can you find a nice home for the little guy? Maybe where ever you got them from will take him back?

There is nothing humane you can do to keep him from crowing. If he's too loud, I'd rehome him and get another friend or two for your remaining chick, assuming that one is a hen. Hens can be noisy too so if that'd also be an issue you may need to look into getting a quieter house pet.
