I ordered only one Orpington hen with a and an unknown group. From day one only one chick looked absolutely "Buff" colored.... The rumpled messy looking little one that I lovingly named Pigpen.
Now at 3 1/2 weeks, one of the others looks more like what I imagine a Buff Orpington should look like, and my Pigpen is developing into a more Orange color, and not one color. On top of that Pigpen's legs are now a dark Willow color.
Please help me ID my two Buff colored friends.

Pigpen and inquisitive buddy.

Pigpen's Buff friend. (Orpington?)
If it helps to determine sex, at 3 weeks 2 days, Pigpen weighed 7.4 oz and the One color Buff weighed 6.4 oz.
Thanks much.
