I am a first round mom of 3 adult children and a second round of three adopted children and a foster mom of more than 70 little people. It is no wonder that when we continually found ourselves with space and open hearts that I began filling our backyard with chickens.
Gosh, when I first brought home three checks for my kids, I never thought that I would be the one pining over them day and night but they are so friendly and loving. They have so much personality.
One year later, we now have the Egg Factory and Chick Inn B & B for our ten chickens, we have a coop for the vulnerable and an indoor medical facility for the casualties that could befall my sweet lady friends.
I am looking for community and resources to learn how to provide the best care for my girls. As far as I know...they are all girls.
