I have some mystery eggs and I am not quite sure who laid them. Here is a photo of the eggs in question. I have included all my eggs I collected over the past 2 days for reference. (I am saving them for incubation so they were all out anyway)

The ones I am not sure about are in the upper right hand corner. My best guess is they are from the 22 week old jersey giant pullets I got from Wynette. One other possibility is that they came from a black sex link hen, but I don't think that is likely because I got both of the eggs the same day. I have no other standard size brown egg layers in this pen. I do have two 20 week old EE pullets so I guess that is a possibility as well. Do those two look like JG pullet eggs?

Hey, Keith - it's possible those are JG eggs, but they look awfully big for pullet eggs....here's a pic of one of my pullet Jersey eggs (along with a 1st generation olive egger egg):

At 22 weeks, they're just a hair young, but it's definitely possible. I would think the BSL would be the more likely candidate - is it possible you missed collecting one? Again, though, it very well could be! Are their combs bright red yet?
