Who laid this egg?

We have a flock of sapphire gems and easter eggers that are the same age. We have 16 altogether and I believe 3 of them just started laying. I just don't know who's laying. We've had 6 eggs so far and they are all brown. I thought Easter eggers laid colored eggs and the sapphire gems laid the brown eggs but I've mostly seen the easter eggers in the nesting boxes but it is possible that the sapphire gems are sneaking in there. I attached the picture of one I've found today. Just seeing if anyone has any insight to who see who is laying these eggs. Thanks in advance!

It’s pretty rare for an Easter egger to lay brown eggs, so I think the brown ones are from the sapphire gems, do you have pictures of your birds?

Where did you get them from...they don’t look like Easter eggers, they may be, but to me they look like welsummers...more pictures from the side of the “Easter eggers”?

Sorry these are all the pictures I have, and some are older pictures. I got them from tractor supply website which comes from Hoovers Hatchery I believe.

Well after doing a bunch of research, I've come to the conclusion that I do have welsummers and not easter eggers I was looking forward to the colored eggs.

No actually, it looks like you will get colored eggs (most likely) because those are Easter eggers. Likely an olive egger. They have what looks like a cream legbar and welsummer in them...

Definitely not pure Welsummers. I agree with legbar crosses. If they are first gen crosses you should get green eggs but if they are second + gen crosses you could possibly get brown

Okay thanks everyone! I will have to wait and see till they are all laying. I'm excited either way!
