Who laid this egg?

I know my RSLs are starting to lay. They are pushing 18.5 weeks old. My BOs and BAustralorps are about 18 weeks. My EEs are almost 17 weeks.

I am pretty sure the darkest ones on the left are from an RSL. Not sure about the slightly more yellowish two in the middle, though since they are approaching full size, I am guessing RSL as well.

But that dinky pullet egg on the right? Surely one of my other breeds is starting to lay, right? Any idea who would be laying one that pale?

I do have at least one BO that is redding up in the comb and her wattles are more easily seen, like what has happened with my RSLs about 2 weeks ago. My BAs are still small combed.

OF the three breeds you are talking about, my RSL lay the darkest eggs (like the bottom left one), BA next and BO lightest. With an egg that light I would have to say probably BO, I have not had a RSL that laid eggs that light, and the BA are usually more like the eggs in the middle. Of course if your EEs are starting early then they could lay anything.

It could also be a fart/fairy egg. One of my Silkies usually lays a nice, dark egg. The other day she gave me a fart egg, and it was a completely different shade of brown. Cream colored, like your little egg. They're common with new layers, even if they've already given you big, normal looking eggs :)

I got another like it today, only with brown speckles. So either the same pullet just started laying, or a second one of the BOs started laying.
