we lost 3 ducks an one 11 week blue orp.in the same night weds night thurs morning.so set out a trap it was triped last night but nothing but scat.any guesses i tied the chicken to the back of the cage tonight so lets hope we catch it.

Agree, looks to be fairly large. Is the shot looking into a trap or a run? A sheet of plywood with a layer of flour sprinkled on to and a bait in the middle will probably draw it onto it to get some footprints to confirm. Meanwhile I would suggest securing your flock in the coop, if you don't already, till you get it.
