They (the ducks) didn't have much of a choice.
They could run but they couldn't hide.
Now their all grown big and it's funny because I didn't have seperate quarters for them so they were sleeping in a dog crate on the porch and at dusk they'd mosy on over to the back door and be like, ok, let us in and walk in and walk into their crate.
But today I got 2 free doors at the grainery...they just put on new doors and so I got their old screen door and storm door. And I was totally looking for a door! I'm so excited!
One of the guys always goes to a fish fry on friday and plays the claw game and brings back all these stuffed animals that they pass out to kids that visit the store...i swear my kids must be the only kids that visit. ha ha. Well, today they didn't have any stuffed animals (which is fine by me because they have so many toys as it is) but the old man kidded and said, sure, I guess since we don't have any toys, we'll give you a couple of doors instead. ha ha ha. I love those guys...they're great.
uh oh...heare comes the rain...gotta go button up.
After watching all of my ducklings swimming and seeing them poop over and over in the water as they swim, I will never consider being IN the same water with them, especially naked!
Seriously, ducklings are cute, but man are they messy!
Of course, when you are a kid, you don't notice stuff like that...and hey, a little duck poo never hurt anybody, right?
