This is our lovely Calypso from our chicks back in June. She's roughly 5 months old now and an Ameraucana (not EE). Can anyone familiar with the breed let me know if I've got a pullet or a cockerel?
I'll post some pictures of the rest of the flock, but they were allegedly vent sexed as female. Hopefully we have all ladies! Our city ordinance doesn't allow roos and no one has begun to crow. I don't see saddle feathers, no one has a pronounced pea comb (oxymoronic as that is), and the whole flock is the same size, except for poor Sophie, who had a stalled crop.
Side note:
No one told me just how *soft* this breed is! I expected the fluffiness of chick down to be gone after the first feathers came in!
