When we found out that corn is out in the warm months (and boy is it warm in N. California!) we got a small bag of whole oats for treats. Will our 8 wk old chickens be OK w/ whole oats? They love whole wheat.
They free range and get plenty of dirt. (I do have all-purpose sand I can give them but I can't figure out if it's safe or not!)
