Hi there I have been reading lots on this site and figured I was due for a post.
I went chicken crazy and bought a prebuilt coop at shoppers, bought five 2yr old br laying hens on cl and bought four br chicks from ace. My coop said it was for 8 but the 5 already seem to fill the coop...I had to separate the chicks from the hens because they were picking on them... I wanted to be able to free range them so they can eat the bugs, but I admit I am not sure how to go about all of this.....
