Whoot! My new Buckeye Bantams arrived today, yay!

Got my new Buckeye Bantam trio from Matt John of Shady Lane Poultry Farm today, and am really looking forward to working with them. No pics yet, wanted to let them settle into the quarantine pen for a few days. One cock, one hen, one pullet (who I like the best of all.) I'll be getting another pair in November from a breeder in MA, but am going to hatch all I can from this trio from now until next summer.

I will after a couple of days, want them to settle in a bit. The male has a less than perfect comb, but I can select out for that issue pretty easily (and it's a not-unusual problem with the bantams, they are less worked-on than the large fowl.) But they are just so darned cute!
