Who's egg is this?

The dark brown is from my Blue Copper Marans. This lighter, pinkish one showed up yesterday with no evidence of who laid it. It has a matte finish, and is darker brown when wet. (Kinda like a bloom coating?) I have an OE (assuming its not hers) and a BlackCM with bright red comb/wattle. I also have a Golden Sex-Link, BO, and SLW that are barely 18 weeks old, but all showing bright red combs. The sex-link has been bright the longest. I also have a barred rock and an EE, but combs are still very pale in color and they are only about 17 weeks old. Thanks for your input.

Nobody ever replied, and no one may ever see this, but I thought I'd share that I now know that egg is from my Golden Sex Link.

I am sorry your thread got lost in all the threads on BYC. I feel bad sometimes for the newbies ( like your self

) being lost in all the other threads.

Glad you found who the layer was.
You will be glad to see an increase in size of that egg as your Golden Sex-Link perfects her laying skills.

I the future for whom ever lays next. Your EE should lay a blue, green or possibly even pink egg.
Your Rock should lay a light brown egg
Your Bo will lay a similar colour to your Rock, maybe a bit lighter.
Your SLW will lay a tinted white egg or maybe an even lighter brown than your BO.
Not sure what OE stands for, do you mean Old English Game?? If so the she will lay a very small egg but don't know what colour.

Thanks! OE is Olive Egger.... To me anyway. All my girls have started laying now, and it has been SO much fun! I have four "brown" egg layers and they were tricky to determine for a while... But I think I got it now!
