I've been collecting these little cream coloured eggs since I added my new Black Mottled Orpingtons to the flock. One of the larger girls, Agatha (June hatch, left in picture), laid when they were all separate so I know her eggs. Then I got a similar egg from her sister with less bloom. And then these little eggs, I assumed, from the smallest and most mottled girl hatched in September of last year. I had collected several and then one on the 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, and 28th.

Amelia Bedelia Cordelia (center) is the September Black Mottled Orpington hatch. Then Agatha, the June Black Mottled Orpington hatch, is to the left. And one of the Swedish Blue Hens is to the right (hatched last October).

But on the 27th I got this little blue egg. I hatched out 5 Swedish Blue Hens (Svart Hona/Isbar cross) last October and it appears 3 are hens and 2 are roos. So maybe one of them started laying too?

Bottom: Little unknown egg, cream, possibly Amelia B. Cordelia's egg (left), little unknown egg, blue, possibly Swedish Blue Hen(right)

But then when I placed them all in a bowl the one egg looks pinker then the rest of the cream ones.

Bottom left seems pinker?

So could my Swedish Blue Hens be laying the wrong colour eggs? The breeder I got the eggs from was not the most reputable I found out afterwards. I thought the eggs were supposed to be larger because Svart Honas lay large eggs for their small size. And I've received at least a dozen of them so I don't think they're just pullet eggs, but maybe they are?

Any suggestions/ideas would be extremely helpful! Thank you in advance!!!
