Who's my daddy?

I planned to set some eggs from my Brown Leghorn pair this spring,( next week here in Oz.)
My neighbor recently acquired a Sussex rooster and on one occasion he jumped the fence and had his way with my Brown Leghorn hen.
For how long could the hen be carrying the Sussex's sperm ?
I've already collected some eggs, can I get rid of the next couple of eggs laid and then presume my rooster will be the father?
