Who's your favorite hatchery of the 2011 season?

I got several orders of birds from Ideal this year. Two orders came during the hottest part of the summer and all were alive and healthy when they arrived despite having to travel from Texas to Virginia. The employees I have talked to are always friendly and helpful. I like dealing with them and certainly will again, but when you are talking about all the major hatcheries I'd say most of them do good. It is about like asking whether you buy from Lowe's or Home Depot. I like Lowes better, but know that Home Depot is just as good if I end up going there instead.

I like County Line Hatchery in Iowa. They may not have all of the breeds everybody else has but they do have quality. I purchased several chicks through them and I don't have a complaint. They have both Heritage/Exhibition lines as well as production lines of chickens. They also have turkeys, ducks, geese, guineas, and peafowl. They are comprised of two neighboring families.
