I can't quite limit myself to one. What is Merry without Pippin? Or Frodo without Sam? And surely Legolas wouldn't be nearly as entertaining without Gimli. Add Gandalf into that mix too. And then there is Harry Potter. But Ron and Hermione add so much charm to him it's hard not to include them when listing his name.
