Why are Buff Orpingtons so docile?

We love our Buff Orpingtons...especially our girl we named "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"
She is very friendly and complacent. Is this true of all Buff Orpingtons?

Mostly true. We had four, three were bullies and rehomed. The one we have left talks and sings (she gets in the coop where it echoes and tries her hardest to outdo an opera singing) but she's always right there and friendly and following you around, just pretty much chill (now our Brahmas are even more chill than her )
