CAJUN_CHICK
In the Brooder
Hi,
My new coop and run were finally ready for my (6) 8 week old Beilfelder chicks as of yesterday afternoon. We put them in the run for about 3 hours before sunset and then tried to lead them with treats to the coop. One followed almost all the way into the coop but we did not succeed. So we put them in and locked the door until this morning. Open the door this morning and within about 30 minutes all six came down to the run and was eating. Came back home during my lunch hour and all of them are back in the coop. Should I close the door or leave it open and let them come and go as they please?
