Why are my cream legbar eggs blue outside and white inside, I thought they were meant to be blue all the way through.

My cream legbar eggs are pale blue outside but white inside, any idea why?

There is a thin membrane layer that is connected to the inside part of the shell. You can remove that layer (with a lot of time and patience), then underneath the membrane, the egg will be blue!

IME removing the inner membranes is easiest right after the egg is broken open.
