Why aren't these eggs hatching?

Our momma, sitting on all the other hens' eggs, is patiently tending the nest. It is day 22 now and we are getting a little impatient/worried. We candled a few of the eggs last week and it looked like they were good (to a very inexperienced eye). We are trying to be patient, but it is so hard! Any suggestions out there?

Hatching is not an exact science. Depending on how often or long the hen was off the nest to eat, poop, etc, it could affect the hatch. It may take an extra day or or 3.
Just leave her be and listen for peeps!

Thanks Terrie for encouraging us to be patient! We are now hearing peeps and see one little hole in an egg. Never did I think this would be so exciting! I thought maybe some of these "chicken" people needed a life. Now I'm hooked too!

My hubby and sons think my daughter and I are a little wacky, but that's ok. Wait until they see the little chicks! They'll fall in love with them too. Debbie
