why chick died?

I had a 7 weeks old Cornish.that the night before it died I notice it was peeping real often,& hard to swallow,that morning I was going to butcher It.I took the cornish out of the cage & laid it on the ground ready to- you now.and it died then,A notice a little bit of blood on it thing ,where the egg comes out.any ideas.

There's lots of reasons for a young chicken to die. Blood around the vent could have been coccidiosis, but I'm not sure about that. The cornish Xs grow so fast, sometimes their hearts can take the rapid growth.
